How to create a Free AI Talking Avatar using Midjourney and Polymorf

You can create a talking avatar video like the viral clips you see on tiktok and instagram in a matter of minutes using AI tools available online. Today, I'll show you how to do it using Midjourney, the popular text-to-image service, and Polymorf, a website that lets you make images talk.

 

Step 1. Generating the Image using Midjourney

Create an account on midjourney, and type the following prompt:

Prompt:  

a beautiful young woman in a traditional chinese costume, in the style of salon kei, photo-realistic techniques, kinuko y. craft, 32k uhd, sonian, classical, historical genre scenes, serene faces --ar 69:128 --s 750 --v 5. 2

Once you've done that, you'll have a high quality of image that we'll use to animate a talking head video.

 

Step 2. Upload the Image on Polymorf

Login to https://polymorf.me. You should see a library of your current videos, or if none, you should see a "Create Video" button. Click that, and it'll take you to the editor

Once you're on the editor, you can click on the "+ Create" button on the avatar library on the left drawer to upload the image you generated in the previous step into an editor.

 

Step 3. Enter a script/sentence

You can enter a script for the avatar to talk. You have a limit of 1 minute duration. You can type in any language such as Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or Arabic, and you can select the voice that you want the video to emulate.

 

Step 4. Render the video

Once that's done, you can click "Render", and with enough credits, generate a video of an AI Talking Avatar. See the results below.
